Therapeutic Cold Laser Therapy is provided by ACHIEVE Veterinary Urgent Care. A therapeutic laser is used to alleviate pain, reduce acute and chronic inflammation, and quicken wound healing. A high-intensity light is used in laser therapy to quicken the body’s natural healing processes. The movement of the laser beam over the skin allows the light energy to enter the tissue and interact with a variety of chemicals that have an impact on the body in different ways. It causes effects that are photochemical, photothermal, and photomechanical.
